My Story (And How It Involves You)

Life can feel like a relentless game of whack-a-mole, especially when you're building something meaningful while dodging distractions and doubts.

Who Am I?

I'm not the tech-geek AI expert some think I am.

I'm a tech-tinkerer and experimenter. I've done cool things with AI but I'm not a programmer (though with AI's help, that's changing).

I just FAFIO: F#ck Around & Figure It Out

*You’d be surprised at how good you can get at life and AI just by doing that. And it’s not to be confused with its cousin: FAFO: F#ck Around and Find Out… the later one means you deal with the outcome. The first one means you define the outcome.

For 20+ years, I've started businesses, bought and sold them, and helped entrepreneurs unlock their potential and build businesses that create both money and freedom.

I've worked with everyone from scrappy startups to 8-figure companies, a couple billionaires, a world-champion athlete, and many more. I help them refine offers, scale marketing, and leverage tools like AI to work smarter.

But I'm far from gifted and I didn’t start out with an edge.

I'm midwestern raised, San Diego transplanted, and had to figure things out through trial and error.

Born in 1974, I have the unique perspective of living both without technology and seeing it transform everything.

My obsessions: living life on my terms and not wasting my potential.

My superpowers: learning fast and starting things faster. (Finishing what I start has been an issue though).

My Zigzag Path

In 2008, I read a book and started selling info products before I knew what they were.

Then I launched a software company simultaneously (pro tip: don't start two businesses at once).

I created a hit business podcast just to connect with people I admired. I tried affiliate marketing, real estate, consulting, and ventures I'd rather forget.

Many of them worked. Many didn't.

But I learned: there's no failure, only feedback.

My life changed however when I realized that I can get leverage with technology and skills while being leverage to help other people create more growth, money, autonomy and impact.

The Real Lesson

Success isn't finding the "perfect" idea. It's about resilience and reinvention.

It's taking what you've learned, pivoting when necessary, and building something aligned with who you are and the life you want.

Today, I'm proof you don't need a traditional path to create freedom and fulfillment. I've built businesses I'm proud of, sold ones I gave birth to, and helped others rewrite their futures.

But most importantly? I've designed a life that makes me excited about each day.
